TODAY, JULY 18, AS AN EXPERT AND CHAIRMAN OF THE FIRST FOUNDATION FOR REBUILDING UKRAINE SPOKE AS A SPEAKER AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “HUMANITARIAN DEMINING OF UKRAINE. PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF SOLUTIONS”, HELD IN KYIV AT THE “LEONARDO” BUSINESS CENTER.
My speech was about the topic:
“Development of the market of domestic antimine mine action operators”.
I believe that this issue is quite relevant, because it is necessary to support domestic manufacturers and specialists.
The risk to the lives of our sappers is an integral part of their dangerous work. Providing them with sufficient protection and modern equipment should be a priority. It is also necessary to continue research and development of new technologies that can help in the detection and disposal of mines with minimal risks for sappers.
The safety of these specialists must come first so that they can successfully carry out their important mission.
Among the speakers were: the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, State Emergency Service, Ukroboronservice, demining operators, international organizations, and equipment manufacturers.
Our Foundation will continue to participate in similar events to jointly develop appropriate algorithms together with state structures, partners, and the public.
